You need the System Administrator role (or User Group Administrator for adding users to groups) to add users. See User groups and admin roles.
Before you start
- Check your available licences. Go to the Products tab to see how many licences are free for each product. If you’ve run out, contact WOHO to add more seats. See Adding more licences.
- Use work email addresses. Add users with their company email address (for example,
name@yourcompany.mu), not a personal Gmail or Hotmail address. This keeps the account and its files under your organisation’s control. - Know your identity type. If your organisation uses single sign-on, set up your directory and domain first. See Identity and single sign-on.
Add a single user
1
Open the Users tab
Sign in at adminconsole.adobe.com and select Users from the top menu. Then select Users in the left-hand panel.
2
Select Add users
Select the Add users button in the top-right corner.
3
Enter the user's details
Type the user’s email address. If the Admin Console asks for more details, enter their first name, last name, and country. If your organisation has several directories, choose the account type when prompted.
4
Assign products (optional)
Select the + (Add) icon next to the user to choose which products to give them, for example Creative Cloud All Apps or Acrobat Pro. If your organisation has more than one product profile for a product, choose the correct profile. You can skip this step and assign licences later.
5
Save
Select Save. The user appears on the Users page within a few minutes.

What the user receives
If you assigned a product, the user receives an email from Adobe inviting them to get started. They should:- Open the email and select Get started.
- Sign in, or create a password if they’re new to Adobe.
- Download the Creative Cloud desktop app or Acrobat and sign in with the same email address.
Add users in bulk with a CSV file
For onboarding a whole department or migrating many users at once, upload a CSV (comma-separated values) file instead of adding people one by one. The Admin Console accepts up to 25,000 users per file, but Adobe recommends no more than 5,000 per upload for best performance.1
Open the bulk upload option
Go to Users > Users, select the More options (…) menu next to Add users, and choose Add users by CSV.
2
Download the CSV template
In the window that opens, download the template. Use the template for your account type. Adobe offers a basic template and a comprehensive one with extra columns.
3
Fill in the template
Open the file in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets and add one row per user. At minimum, fill in the email address, first name, last name, and country code (use
MU for Mauritius). To assign licences in the same upload, enter the product profile name exactly as it appears in the Products tab.Keep every column, even if you leave some empty. If a field needs several values, such as two user groups, separate them with commas.4
Save as CSV
Save the file in CSV UTF-8 format. This preserves names with accents such as “Céline” or “Hélène”.
5
Upload the file
Return to the Admin Console, drag the file into the upload window (or browse to it), and select Upload.
6
Check the result
Adobe processes the file in the background. You’ll receive an email when it’s done. To see the outcome and download a report of any rows that failed, go to Users > Bulk operation results.

Example CSV rows
Column headings vary with the template and account type you download. Always start from the template the Admin Console gives you, not from this example.
Resend an invitation
If a user can’t find their invitation email:- Ask them to check their junk or spam folder and search their inbox for messages from
adobe.com. - In the Admin Console, go to Users > Users, select the user’s name, and look for the Resend invite option. It’s available while the invitation is still pending.
- As an alternative, the user can go to account.adobe.com and sign in with their work email. Their assigned licence will be available once they sign in.
